WHO WE ARE

Peggy Riley, Sarah Leipciger and Joanna Quinn met on a creative writing course nearly twenty years ago. Since then, we have supported each other through the highs and lows of our writing journeys.

Between us, we have published five novels, some award-winning short stories and a few plays, along with numerous essays and articles. We have a combined total of over fifty years teaching experience. More importantly, we have attended countless writing courses as students - so we know from experience what works and how vital good writing groups can be. 

 

We created Hope & Anchor to help our fellow writers. We want to provide the kind of support system that helped us develop our skills. We will offer inspiring workshops, courses and retreats suitable for those just starting out and those well under way. We also provide writing coaching and manuscript assessment.
